Our melt and pour soaps are 100% pure soap with only the finest natural vegetable oils.

Goat’s Milk soap is believed to have skin softening properties. Our Goat’s Milk melt and pour soap base is made with 10% real liquid goat milk. It has a delicate creamy lather. The base has a creamy custard colour and is made with the same basic recipe as our ever-popular opaque base.

450 gram block

Coconut Oil Palm Oil Safflower Oil Glycerine (kosher, of vegetable origin) Goat’s Milk Purified Water Sodium Hydroxide (saponifying agent) Sorbitol (moisturizer) Sorbitan oleate (emulsifer) Oat protein (conditioner) Titanium Dioxide (mineral whitener used in opaque soaps)

Melt and Pour Soap Notes
Melt and pour soap is made with high concentrations of glycerin to enable you to melt it. This can cause “sweating” in humid conditions. Make sure you wrap your soap and keep in a cool dry place. Is it oil base or water base?

    • Kirsty (verified owner)

      Hi Roxie,
This is a soap base so it has both oil and water which is saponified to make it into soap (maybe you’re confusing this with a lotion base which can be either oil or water based?)

hi how long does the shipping usually take?

    • Kirsty (verified owner)

Shipping to the North Island is usually overnight and to the South Island 2 days (add an extra 2-3 days for rural addresses) 🙂

This is such a beautiful soap base, I can’t rate it enough. I have friends and/or their children with bad eczema and this base works well on each of them so far. It is worth noting that one boy has severe eczema and this product really soothes his skin, with no reaction. When I bought it for the first time, when I melted it down, I immediately saw a very ‘silky’ product. It is just so different in consistency to the normal melt and pour white and translucent bases that I also buy [please note that I’m not dissing these – these are also great for those who don’t have allergies]. The goats milk is very moisturizing and just lovely. My skin is very dry and I now won’t use anything else. It has a pleasant scent. I would highly recommend it!

Hi there, how many soaps would you get out of a block?

    • Kirsty (verified owner)

      Hi Abby,

It depends on how big your soap mould is. For example one of these blocks is 450 grams so if you were using our Bee & Honeycomb mould https://zenaroma.wpengine.com/product/bee-honeycomb-soap-mould/ you would get 4 bars of soap (with a little left over) as the cavities are 100 grams each.

I hope that makes sense 🙂
