Grapefruit essential oil has a sweet, sharp and refreshing aroma. It blends well with basil, bergamot, chamomile, frankincense, geranium, jasmine, lavender, palmarosa, rose, rosewood and ylang ylang.
Effect on mind: Grapefruit has an uplifting effect making it useful in periods of stress. It seems to have a balancing action on the central nervous system and may be helpful for stablising manic depression.
Effect on body: Stimulates lymphatic system and may have an effect on obesity and water retention. Helps the digestion of fats by stimulating bile secretion, but it is also stimulating for the appetite. Has a cleansing effect on the liver, kidneys and vascular system. Said to relieve migraines and pre menstral tension.

Do not apply undiluted essential oils to your skin. Use a carrier oil or solvent to dilute first.
Eyes
Do not drip undiluted essential oils into eyes as this will cause a chemical burn and may result in temporary blindness. Diluted essential oils may be used close to the eyes. More here.

Undiluted essential oils should not be dripped into the ears, but diluted essential oils may be placed on a cotton wad for partial insertion.

Really lovely citrus scent absolutely love.

Smells amazing but doesn’t stay for long in cop soap even with clay is used to anchor the sent. after some research this is said to be normal for grapefruit essential oil. Needs to be paired with another essential oil but I still love it, great fresh smell.
